I've been developing for the internet since my first home page in 1997. Since then I've developed a hobby into a business. I've been an independent contract web developer since 2006 when I quit my safe, full-time job as a software QA Supervisor for the unpredictable life of the self-employed.
It's been mostly cake and roses since then working for companies ranging in scale from international corporations like Neopost NSIS, Freescale, PayPal and Volantis Systems, to smaller contracts for university graduate departments and local shops and businesses.
I began developing PHP sites and web applications in 2002. Since then I've picked up additional languages like ASP.NET, C#, Perl, Action Script (Flash), SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, T-SQL) and Java. This is completely leaving aside JavaScript, HTML and CSS which are all absolute requirements for anyone in the field. The recent advancements with HTML5 and CSS3, as well as the exciting work being done by Google, Mozilla and Microsoft with their advanced JS engines are enough by themselves to keep anyone busy trying to stay ahead of the curve.
I'm available for hire or contract web development and will be excited to help you reach your audience and your online business goals.
